Strolling Leopard
Joseph (our guide) was excellent at anticipating the animals movements.
He positioned us so that the Leopard would cross the road very close to
us while she was stalking an Antelope. Audrey and I were surprised to find
that the cats payed no attention to us whatsoever. They rarely even
glanced in our direction. In this picture, where the tail is curled up,
you can see the that the back side of the Leopard's tail is white.
The young use this as a visual aid when following their mother through
tall grass.
